A Community Advisory Board (CAB) including multi-ethnic women, health care providers, and community leaders will guide the research. CAB activities include:
Facilitating recruitment and retention of study participants
Assuring the community relevance of all aspects of the study
Identifying and assist with collaboration of community sites for study recruitment for this study and potential future work
Using community networks to facilitate recruitment, study conduct, and dissemination
Designing qualitative interviews
Participating in interpretation of the data
Disseminating results to community members, leaders, health care providers as appropriate
Contributing to dissemination activities as desired
Determining next steps for future research and dissemination of the findings to relevant communities
